Investment Offerings:
How Do The Investment Offerings Work? When a new investment is posted on our platform you can lean about the business look at their social media accounts and look through the financial documents and business disclosures and decide if you want to invest. All investments have a minimum raise amount, a close date and maximum raise. Once you invest, you’ll receive monthly payments of principal and interest until the debt is paid off. Detailed information about the investment can be found in the Bond Prospectus Summary or Bond Prospectus. Also, investors have until the specified close date to invest. Investors who invested after the maximum target raise will be refunded. If by close, the offering has not reached its minimum raise amount, the offering fails and all investors will be refunded.
What Businesses can be Listed? We allow only qualified businesses on our platform. All potential investment offerings are reviewed by our underwriting team. All investments go through a standard risk criteria. Only those who meet the criteria will be listed on our platform.
What Securities are Offered? The security we support is a Wine Bond, which is registered with the FTC. The bonds are the debt mechanism, where an investor loans money which is paid back a fixed rate of principal and interest over a predetermined time period.
How Long is An Offering Available? Typically an investment offering is 21 days but varies.
What if an Offering Does Not Reach it's Miniman? If it does not reach it's minimum it ill be canceled. And investors will receive a refund within 5 business days. Business do have the option to extend the offering to a longer time or lower the minimum raise amount. If this happens, investors will receive an email asking if they want to “reconfirm” the investment. If not, then they will receive a refund.
What if I Invest Over The Max Raise? If that happens and another investor ahead of you cancels your investment will be accepted. If not you'll receive a refunded.
What Happens If An Offering is Fully Funded Before It Closes? If this happens, all investors will be notified, via email that the investment is fully funded and will close early.
